Waterbury - Jacqueline V. (Marinelli) Walsh, 79, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at The VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Mr. Donald Vaillancourt. Jackie was born on February 2, 1935 in Waterbury, daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Ogren) Marinelli. Jackie was a caring, loving person that loved her family with all her heart. She enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles and watching her favorite shows. She retired from Airpax after many years of service. She is survived by her three children, Jean Ventura of Cary, NC, Donna Polselli and her husband Ric of Waterbury, and Todd Vaillancourt and his wife Mary of Wolcott; four grandchildren, Jessica Ventura of Apex, NC, Jessica Odom of Oakville, Melissa Polselli and Eric Polselli of Waterbury; two great grandchildren, Christopher Pelletier and Gianna Ventura; two sisters, Rosalynn Kelly and Michele Marinelli; a brother, Roger Marinelli; and her cat and longtime companion, Angel. Jackie was predeceased by three sisters, Georgette Whight, Patty Nolan, and Peggy Christenfen; and a brother, John Ogren. All funeral services are private. "May the wind always be on your back and the sun always upon your face and may the winds of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars."
