ENFIELD, CT- Irene Caouette of Enfield, Connecticut died on January 15, 2024, at Little Sisters of the Poor in Enfield, Connecticut at the age of 100.
Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on April 21, 1923, Irene was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Lecomte) Caouette. She was a parishioner of St. Annes Church in Waterbury, Connecticut for many years.
Irene is survived by her sister Lorette (Caouette) Gagne of Florida and her brother-in-law, Leonard Perazelli of Enfield and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Edward and George Caouette and two sisters, Doris (Caouette) Delage and Alice (Caouette) Perazelli.
A special thank you belongs to the staff and Sisters of Little Sisters of the poor, where she resided for the past 20 years.
Irene's life will be celebrated on Monday May 20, 2024 beginning at 11 AM with a A Mass of Christian Burial at The Little Sisters of The Poor St. Joseph Residence in Enfield St. Joseph Residence 1365 Enfield Street Enfield, Connecticut 06082-4925. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury, Connecticut above her father- George Caouette. There will be no calling hours.
