WOLCOTT- Mr. Henry W. Bosse, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 21, 2024 at home in Wolcott. For over 68 years he was the beloved husband of the late Gloria (Derouin) Bosse who died in 2022. Born in Waterbury on September 4, 1931, Henry was the son of the late Henry J. and Maria (Gagne) Bosse. He grew up working on the familys Canadian Dairy Farm in the Bucks Hill Section of Waterbury and for many years worked for Light Metals Coloring Co. in Southington. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Basketball teams and many will remember him as a parishioner of St. Anne Church. Most of all, Henry loved being the patriarch of and spending time with his large, wonderful family. Henry leaves and will be deeply missed by his four sons, Edward and his wife Linda Bosse, Martin and his wife Loretta Bosse, Steven and his wife Kimberly Bosse, Thomas and his wife Marlaina Bosse, three daughters Celine and her husband James Dziezynski, Gisele "Gigi" Mascia, Lynn and her husband Kenneth Benoit, his two brothers Ronald Bosse, Robert Bosse a sister Adele Marcoux, sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Gloria he was predeceased by his daughter Michele "Mitzi" Bosse, his brother Dennis Bosse, his sister Dolores Ayotte. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday November 25, 2024 beginning at 11 AM at St. Pius X Church/ St. Basil The Great Parish in Wolcott.
