Bristol - Hector J. Nadeau 89 of Waterbury passed away on April 23, 2020 at Sheriden Woods Nursing Home in Bristol. He was the widower of Juliette Nadeau who passed away on March 10, 2020. They were married for 66 years and Hector stayed by his wifes side through her Alzheimers years until her death. Hector was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada on October 8, 1930 son of the late Alfred and Albertine (Ouellette) Nadeau. He immigrated with his family to the U.S. in 1966 and became a skilled carpenter. He later joined the Local Union 210 where he worked until his retirement. Hector had a very gentle soul and was loved by everyone that knew him. He enjoyed traveling back to Canada to visit family and friends. He also cherished his time with family, especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Hector will be sadly missed by his son Herman (Laurine) of Wolcott, daughters Nancy Montrose (John) of Waterbury and Shirley Brouillard (Joe) of Bristol. He also leaves his 6 grandchildren, Jason, Kristina, Nickie, Heather, Ryan and Kevin along with 4 great grandchildren, Dylan, Alexia, Alayna and Collin. Hector also leaves 2 brothers, Fern of Thomaston, and Ronald of Canada along with his sisters, Rita Cassidy of Woodbury, Bernice St. Jean of Plainville, Marie Fafard of Waterbury, Marguerite Michaud of Prospect and Germaine Michaud of Waterbury. He is also predeceased by his brother Aurele and sister Gilberte Theriault of Canada. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Services Services will be held at a later date.
