Wolcott Harry A. Sasso, 73, passed away on June 30, 2018, at Abbott Terrace. Harry was born in Waterbury on June 20, 1945 to the late Harry J. Sasso and Virginia (Bozzuto) Sasso. He was raised in Wolcott where he attended local schools and graduated from Central CT State University. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy. Harry would often be seen driving through Wolcott going to cruise nights in his 63 split window Corvette. He enjoyed playing cards, was an avid gun enthusiast, and Yankees fan. He was a member of Bristol Fish and Game and worked for many years in security. Harry is survived by his sister, Judith S. Benson, and her husband, Joel, of FL; his 3 nephews, Joel; Gary; and Keith Benson, and his wife, Elizabeth; a great-niece, Sophia; and a great-nephew, James. Services for Harry will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harrys name to the American Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 26 Broadway Fourteenth Floor, NY, NY 10004.
