Waterbury Gloria Cruz, 76 of Waterbury passed away on Wed, May 22, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born on Jan. 13, 1943 in Caguas, PR., daughter of the late Prudencio Cruz and Jacinta Figueroa. Gloria enjoyed music, dancing, and will be remembered for her sense of humor. The family would like to thank the staff at Meridian Manor for the love and care shown to Gloria during her stay with them. She is survived by seven siblings, Pablo Cruz of NY, Justinano, Arsenio, Jose, Maria, Delia, and Lydia Cruz all of Waterbury; her son Osvaldo Guadalupe of Waterbury; granddaughter Gloria "Annie" Guadalupe and her four siblings; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Guillermo Gonzalez; her son Edwin Guadalupe; and siblings, Luis, Espifanio, and Alfonso Cruz. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart-Sagrado Corazn Church (All Saints / Todos los Santos Parish) 13 Wolcott St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
