Glenn David MacBroom, 72, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in Rocky Hill, CT.

Born in Waterbury on September 24, 1953, Glenn was the son of the late James and Louise (Nielsen) MacBroom. He was a graduate of Wolcott High School and Naugatuck Valley Community College. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Torpedoman’s Mate Second Class. Glenn spent most of his career working as a network technician and electromechanical assembler.

Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors, particularly skiing and target shooting. He also enjoyed rebuilding PCs and was an avid reader of history, international relations, and science fiction.

Glenn will be dearly missed by his brother James MacBroom; his brother William MacBroom and his wife, Mary; and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Andrea Iorio.

Burial with full military honors will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, CT.
