Mrs. Gladys M. (DeFelice) (Famiglietti) Guerrera, 94, wife of Richard R. Guerrera, Sr., died Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Mrs. Guerrera was born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Nicholas and Louise (Jannetty) DeFelice, of Derby, CT. She was a retiree of Airpax Corp., Cheshire, and was a teacher, "Miss Dee," at Arthur Murrays Dance Studio. Including her husband, Richard, she leaves a son, Peter C. Famiglietti, and his wife, Judy, of Thomaston; a grandson, Peter A. Famiglietti, of Wolcott; four step-children, Cynthia; Richard Jr.; James; and George, of Florida; a brother, John DeFelice, of Southbury; four granddaughters, and two grandsons. She was predeceased by her brothers, Nicholas, Carmen, Louis DeFelice, and Robert Mihalcik. A calling hour will be held Thursday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, to St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Mrs. Guerreras family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the VITAS Hospice Home Healthcare team that cared for her. The compassion that was shown to Mrs. Guerrera and her family will always be remembered.
