Wolcott- Gertrude Trudy Beerbaum, 99, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Geer Nursing Home in North Canaan. She was the wife of the late Helmut Detlef Beerbaum. Trudy is survived by her children, Karen Lindquist, of Falls Village; and Ronald Beerbaum, of Ledyard; her sister, Elizabeth Volmar; her grandchildren, Carolyn Burger; Rachel Dartez; Erik Lindquist; and Amanda Lindquist; one great grandchild, Rye Wicklein; many nieces and nephews, and extended family. Including her husband, Helmut, Trudy was predeceased by her daughter, Erika Beerbaum; and her son, Walter Beerbaum. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, July 31, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 503 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will be held privately.
