Waterbury - Gerard J. "The Breeze" Deziel, Sr., 58, passed away on Saturday, May 21, at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Rhonda L. (Cosmos) Deziel. Gerard was born November 11, 1957 in Waterbury, son of the late Joseph G. Deziel, Sr. and Patricia (Bioski) DiNapoli. Raised in Wolcott, he was a graduate of Wolcott High School class of 1976. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Gerard J. Deziel, Jr and Thomas F. Deziel both of Torrington; one daughter, Sherry L. Deziel of Torrington; one brother, Thomas D. Deziel of Waterbury; six sisters, Diane Bammann of Winsted, Dolores Bernardi of Waterbury, Carole DeCorso of Waterbury, Michelle Diaz of Northfield, Theresa Keith of Waterbury and Rose Darst of Torrington; six grandchildren, Ryan, Christian, Noah, Anastasia, Ivy and Alex and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph G. Deziel, Jr and Daniel T. Deziel. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 27, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M.
