GEORGE E. MORIN
BRISTOL ~ George E. Morin, 83, of Bristol passed away on Monday, March 9th at Bristol Hospital. He was the husband of Elsbeth (Koesling) Morin.
Mr. Morin was born May 10, 1925 in Waterbury, son of the late Eugene and Claudia (Ouellette) Morin. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and served in Germany. He attended the Shrine of St. Anne in Waterbury and served as custodian at St. Annes School for many years. Mr. Morin was a member of the American Legion of Terryville and the German-American Society of Bristol. He was an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed country music.
Besides his wife, Elsbeth of 60 years, he leaves his daughters, Karen Morin of Bristol and Debbie Ledoux and her husband, Lewis of Terryville, his sisters, Rita Mangini of Waterbury and Jeannette LaVallee of FL, his brothers, Robert Morin of Waterbury, Leo Morin of Naugatuck, and Ernest Morin of Indianapolis, IN, his grandchildren, Michelle Ledoux and Joshua and Samantha Morin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8:30 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Ann Church, Bristol for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm.
