Gary J. Thivierge, 81, of Cheshire, husband and best friend of Charlotte (Case) Thivierge passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Vitas in St. Mary’s Hospital.

Born in Yonkers, NY on December 23, 1944, he was the son of the late Harold and Hyacinth (Colford) Thivierge. He served in the US Army during Vietnam and worked for Pratt & Whitney for over 32 years.

Gary was a great man who enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with Charlotte. He was a member of American Legion. He was an avid fisherman and loved catching tuna on his homemade boat.

Gary leaves his wife Charlotte of over 31 years, and her daughters Dawn and her husband Wayne Woodtke, Jennifer Veilleux, and three grandchildren Sara Harrison, Anthony Russo and Alyssa Russo. He will also be missed by many friends and coworkers. He was predeceased by his son Gary.
