FRANK A. WEBBER
Wolcott: Frank Albert Webber, 89, of Munson Road, died Saturday, March 28th at St. Marys Hospital. He was the widow of Jean (Sierczynski) Webber.
Mr. Webber was born January 22, 1920 in Wolcott, son of the late Albert and Grace (Munson) Webber. He was a U. S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. He retired from New Departure of Bristol, with over thirty years of service as a Chemist. He was a lifelong resident of Wolcott, and lived all his life on the street where he was born and raised, his beloved Munson Road. His family has ties with the Munson, Frisbee and Alcott Families. He was a member of the Wolcott Congregational Church, the Irish Club, the Dahlia Society, Board member of the Northwest Regional Mental Health Association, representing the town of Wolcott, and a Volunteer reader. His hobbies include boating and photography. He had a passion and love for gardening, music and played many instruments.
He is survived by his two sons William Webber of Waterbury and Russell Webber of San Mateo, CA.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, May 2nd at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott from 3 to 5pm. Funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
