Frank N. Bogush, 78, passed away on Thursday, May 13, at the Paradigm Convalescent Home in Waterbury. He was the widower of Bernice (Levanti) Bogush.
Frank was born in Waterbury on June 6, 1931 son of the late Matthew and Helena (Mockus) Bogusis. He was a graduate of St. Josephs Grammar School in Waterbury and Marianapolis Academy in Thompson, Connecticut. An Army veteran he had served as a Corporal during the Korean War. He had worked as a toolmaker at Scovill Manufacturing for 37 years. Franks hobbies included fishing, golfing, baseball and softball. He was a communicant of St. Pius X Church in Wolcott.
He leaves a son Michael J. Bogush and his wife Cindy (Stokes) of Wolcott, a daughter Lisa A. Bogush of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Michael and Brandon Bogush, both of Wolcott; a long time companion, Mary Sosbe; a niece, Carolyn Minion of Illinois; five nephews, Edmund Furs of Middlebury, Robert Rakauskas of Guilford, Christopher Levanti of Hamden, James Levanti of Wolcott and Glenn Levanti of Ft. Pierce, FL. He was predeceased by a sister Marion Rakauskas and brother-in-laws, Ricky Rakauskas and Frank J. Levanti.
