Coach Frank Wolcott Francis L. Crocetto, 76, passed away on Friday April 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Bellemare) Crocetto for 56 years. Frank was born in Waterbury on August 1, 1942 to Domenic and Carmella (Aufiero) Crocetto. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. He worked as a skilled mason for 50 years. Frank was well known in town as Coach Frank, coaching baseball and basketball for 50 years, and cofounded Roberto Clemente with Dave Pelletier. Frank was an avid sports fan and loved the UConn Women, Yankees, and the Saints. He enjoyed spending time at the casino, he loved to sing, but most of all, Frank loved to be with his family. Memories of Frank will be cherished by his wife, Jean; his children, Karen Carmella Pearson, and her husband, Brian; David Francis Crocetto, and his wife, Sandy; Marc Anthony Crocetto; KarlaJean Cilibert, and her husband, James; and Steven Stanley Crocetto; his sisters, Julia Alessio, and her husband, Danny; Angelina Dolly Gagain Rosato; Loretta Calabrese, and her husband, Joseph; and Jeannette Crocetto; his grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Pearson; Kayleigh, Meghan, and Jake Crocetto; Alyssa and Marcos Lugo; Olivia and Brianna Crocetto; Giordyn Lugo; and Jax and Karissa Cilibert; his great grandchildren, Caleb Garcia and Emi Ahart; his beloved dog, Skipper; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cindy Crocetto; and his brothers, Anthony Crocetto and Sonny Crocetto. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Parish of St. Francis de Sales, located at St. Anthony Church, 111 School Street, Bristol, followed by military honors. Meet directly at church. Burial will be held at a later date.
