We sadly announce the sudden passing of Frances (Wasick) Kramarz on Wednesday December 24, 2025 at her home in Wolcott at the age of 91.

Born in West Rutland, VT on July 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Helen Wasick. She lived in Wolcott for 61 years. She retired from Superior Electric where she worked for over 20 years, also worked at the Wolcott Town Hall for over 14 years but was best known as the “library lady“ at the Wolcott public library.

Fran will mostly be remembered as a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of the Farmingbury Woman’s Club, Friends of the Wolcott Library and the Ladies Guild at St. Pius X Church where she was an active parishioner for many years.

Left to carry on her loving legacy are her two sons Paul and his wife Denise, Matthew his wife Lisa, her two daughters Patricia Priebe, Lori and her husband David Eldridge, her grandchildren Heather, Melody, Teddy, Erica, Alexandra “Ali”, Zachary Nicholas, Khaiden, Dominique, Alexandra and Brandon, numerous great grandchildren, her sister Marie Dobrowolski and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 3, 2026 beginning at 11 AM in St. Pius Church/ St. Basil Parish 517 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. Burial of her cremains will be with her sisters in VT at a later date. There are no calling hours.
