She donated knit hats for new-borns at St. Marys Hospital, afghans for the homeless through Joann Fabrics, and prayer shawls for the Harold Leever Center. Frances was a patient, loving, and supportive mother, a devoted wife, sister and daughter and a loyal and true friend. She was loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all those who survive her. Frances will be remembered as the best mother and grandmother ever, a kind and compassionate person, always giving to those less fortunate than herself. She is survived by her oldest daughter Constance Aloise and Connies husband, Peter Alexander of Hartford and her youngest daughter, Kathleen Aloise Colavecchio and Kathys husband, Tom, and Kathy and Toms daughters, Kate and Kim of Wolcott and her sister, Margaret Rito of Stirling, NJ. One of nine siblings, she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, including Lawerence, Carmella, Florence, Rose, Joseph, Mary, and Rocco Mezzacca. She was the favorite sister, the favorite aunt and the favorite cookie maker.
