FLORETTE ROY NAUGATUCK ~ Florette Delia (Barriault) Roy, 88, of Naugatuck passed away on Saturday, December 27 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Roy was born May 11, 1920 in Jackman, ME, one of 15 children of the late Archelaus and Melanie (Blais) Barriault. She retired after 30 years of service from Uniroyal of Naugatuck. She was a foster mother whose children still keep in touch with her. She was a parishioner of the Shrine of St. Anne. Mrs. Roy leaves her son, Lucien Roy of Ohio, her daughters, Lorette Wasserback of Naugatuck and Lori Miles of Waterbury, her sisters, Irene Nadeau of Jackman, ME and Dorothy Richard of MA, her grandchildren, Tina Roy, Chris Wasserback, Crystal Marcil, Michael and Erik Santarsiere, Jennifer, Josh and Jessica Roy, and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to the Shrine of St. Anne for a funeral mass at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
