We sadly announce the passing of our mother Mrs. Florence "Flo" (Klimowicz) Maloney on Wednesday August 6, 2025 in Waterbury, CT at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 90. She was the wife of the late Neil F. Maloney who died on July 17th of 2022.

Born in Torrington on December 24, 1934, Florence was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Pzybylo) Klimowicz. Her given first name was actually Della, but she was always called Florence or Flo by friends and family. She graduated from Naugatuck High School and had resided in Wolcott since 1963. She loved spending time with her family, her cats, gardening, flowers, birds and watching comedy on TV. She was a very caring person who spent much of her time tending to her husband Neil who was stricken with Polio before they even met. For much of their married life, she was Neil's "arms and legs."

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathleen Simons of Wallingford, two sons, David and his wife Mary Maloney, and Richard and his wife Heather Maloney, one granddaughter, Jessica Maloney, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Flo was predeceased by all nine of her siblings.
