Obituary

Mrs. Evelyn (Fellows) Marcisz, 85, beloved wife of Peter Marcisz passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026 at her home in Newtown after a long illness.

Born in Waterbury on June 6, 1941, Evelyn was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Stewart) Fellows. She graduated from Naugatuck High School and worked for Devon Precision for over 25 years. Evelyn was a heroic survivor of the great Naugatuck River flood of 1955, being rescued by helicopter from a rooftop.

In addition to her husband Peter of 63 years, left to carry on her loving legacy are her daughter LeeAnne and her husband Anthony Zema, her son Steven and his wife Ana, grandchildren Tyler and Alyssa Jake, Madelyn Marcisz and her great grandchildren Lyla and Sylas Jake. She was predeceased by her brother William Francis Fellows, and her grandson Ryan Marcisz
