Cheshire - Evelyn M. Lafreniere (Pelletier) of Cheshire, CT, died at age 90. She was born in Fort Kent, ME, daughter of late Telesphore and Maria (Daigle) Pelletier. She leaves her 2 daughters, Rachel Lafreniere of Phoenix, Arizona, Monique and Husband Gary Montgomery of Denver, CO, foster son Robert Johnston, and 2 foster grandchildren, Ashlee and Connor Johnston of Gilbert, AZ. Her sisters Nilda Martin of Baker Brooke, New Brunswick, Canada, Theresa Solomita and Madeline Pelletier of Waterbury, CT. Brothers Paul of Wolcott, CT and Lucien of Waterbury, CT, and many nieces and nephews. She worked at US Rubber in Naugatuck, CT for 8 years and retired from Holgrath Corp of Cheshire in 1995 after 23 years. She was a lifetime member of the Franco American Social Club of Waterbury and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 165 of Wolcott, CT She enjoyed family get togethers, playing cards, and also loved to plant flowers. Calling hours are Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Church (St. Basil the Great Parish) 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Please meet directly at church.
