Eugene Dionne Loving Father & Grandfather WATERBURY ~ Eugene Dionne, 88, of Waterbury, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the widower of June (Judd) Dionne. Mr. Dionne was born January 1, 1922 in Maine, son of the late Dossett and Isabelle (Daigle) Dionne. He served during WWII with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed bingo and was an avid sports fan ~ his favorite team being the METS. He was a devoted husband to his late wife and enjoyed his family. Mr. Dionne leaves his children, Julia Azukas of Waterbury, Rosemarie Fortier of Oakville, Anita Napoli of Waterbury, Barbara Antonelli of Hawaii, Annette Traver of Waterbury, Yvonne Henry of Waterbury, Eugene Dionne of Waterbury, Donald Dionne of Naugatuck, and Philip Dionne of Waterbury, his 30 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Deziel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29th at 8:45 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to the Immaculate Conception Church for a funeral mass at 10 am.
