Naugatuck - Elza Aubin, 83, passed away on January 8, 2017. She was wife of the late Robert Aubin; and was predeceased, on January 2, 2017, by her loving companion of 36 years, Ronald Beaudoin. Elza was born on New Years Day in 1934 in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Georges and Elise (Albert) Levesque. She enjoyed family gatherings, doing her puzzle books, as well as crocheting and knitting, and would make slippers and wash cloths that she shared with her loved ones. Christmas Eve was always spent at Memere and Peperes , where shed make her famous chicken stew and homemade dumplings. Those that knew Elza, knew how much she loved food, but what she loved most was spending time with her family. Elza is survived by her son, Robert Aubin, and his wife, Tracy; her daughter, Patricia Ehrler, and her husband, Chuck; her brother, Hubert Levesque; her sisters, Jeannine Raymond; Alvine Pelliter; and Velva Levesque; her grandchildren, John Maleto; Danielle Vitale; and Amber Aubin; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Aubin; her loving companion, Ronald Beaudoin; her children, Jeannine Aubin, and Donald Aubin; and her brothers, Ivan, John, and Aurele Levesque. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral home service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
