Waterbury Eleanor D. Grant, 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. She was the wife of the late Donald Grant, Sr. She was born in Waterbury, on October 24, 1926 to James and Ann (Distazio) Dellorfano. Eleanor is survived by her children, Kathleen Schneider, and her husband, George, of Orange Park, FL; and Donald Grant, Jr., of Waterbury; her grandchildren, Bernice Rach; and John Sherman, Jr., and his wife, Shelly; her great grandchildren, Kelly Rach; and Kenneth Rach, and his wife, Tiara; her great great grandchildren, Reese Carter Rach; and Elly Rach; her brother, Anthony Dellorfano, and his wife, Ann; her dear friend and caretaker, Jeanine Blanchette; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
