EDWARD J. SIGNOR WOLCOTT ~ Edward J. Signor, 93, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15th surrounded by his family at Sheriden Woods in Bristol. He was the widower of Mary (West) Signor. Mr. Signor was born November 24, 1915 in Waterbury, CT. He retired from Chase Brass & Copper, Wire Mill Division after 40 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. He attended St. John Episcopal Church in Waterbury. He leaves his daughters, Judith Rogers and her husband Bruce of Wolcott, and Sharyn Leonard and her partner Scott Galloway of Wolcott, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his special friend for many years, June Branco. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20th at 3:30 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott with the Rev. James Bradley of St. John Episcopal Church officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 1 pm until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
