WOLCOTT - Edna Thompson, 77, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Wolcott View Manor after a period of declining health. Mrs. Thompson was born May 18th, 1934 in Millinocket Maine, daughter of the late Lawrence and Olive (Campbell) Leavitt. For many years she was employed as a Nurses Aide at various convalescent homes. She leaves behind a sister Florence Ventresca of California, two daughters, Deborah Charland of NH, and Coreen Rogers of Waterbury, three sons, Tom Thompson of Watertown, Edward Thompson of Cheshire, and John Thompson of Waterbury, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
