EDITH B. CHICOINE Loving Wife, Mom & Grammy NORTHFIELD ~ Edith B. (Levesque) Chicoine, 80, of Northfield died unexpectedly November 8 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Louis Chicoine. Mrs. Chicoine was born January 12, 1928 in Montreal P.Q., Canada, daughter of the late Francois and Jeanne (Theriault) Levesque. She was educated in Canada and moved to Waterbury with her husband in 1954. She was a parishioner of St. Anne Church and a member of Sister Yvonnes Workshop. Mrs. Chicoine was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crafting. She enjoyed her garden and had a love of flowers, but her passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her doting husband of 54 years, Edith leaves three children, her daughter Monique Chicoine and her husband, Thomas Meehan with whom she made her, home, two sons, Normand Chicoine of Torrington, and Andre Chicoine and his wife Anne of Oakville. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren, Alexander, Scott, and Kristine and her sister, Therese Deshaies of Ile Perot, P.Q., Canada. Funeral and burial services will be private.
