WOLCOTT ~ Mrs. Dorothy (Albert) Langdeau, 85, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7th at St. Marys Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Romeo Langdeau.
Mrs. Langdeau, one of 14 children, was born March 12, 1925 in St. Agatha, ME, daughter of the late Thomas and Edith Albert. She retired from Devon Precision after 23 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Langdeau was devoted to her faith and her family, especially caring her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing and word search puzzles.
She leaves her children, Raymond Langdeau and his wife, Deborah of Wolcott, Thomas Langdeau and his wife, Joan of Wolcott, William Langdeau and his wife, Michele of Milldale, David Langdeau of Waterbury, Jeannine Williams and her fianc, Jim Cullen of Wolcott, 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, her daughters-in-law, Sue Langdeau and Hollie Langdeau, and special friend, Terry Crocetto. She will be missed by her constant companion, Violet. Mrs. Langdeau was predeceased by her sons, John, James, Robert, Steven and Richard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 am at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott on Friday from 5 to 8 pm.
