Devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Wolcott Dorothy (LaRosa) Dauphinais, 98, of Wolcott, passed away on March 11, 2023. She was born on June 10, 1924, daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle (Wright) LaRosa. Before her retirement, Dottie worked more than 20 years as a utility person in stitching at Uniroyal (making Keds sneakers) and later worked 10 years at Air Pax. In her spare time she excelled in sewing, needlework, cake decorating, baking, line dancing, and traveling with the gadabouts. Her greatest love was being with her family and the friends she made within her lifetime. She leaves behind three children, Joanne Vacalebre, Edward (Sandra) Dauphinais, and Susan (Louis) Rizzuti, seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her sister Frances Coppola; and three brothers, Edward, Samuel Jr., and Raymond LaRosa. Funeral services will be held privately.
