Wolcott - Mrs. Doris (Barre) Morea, 84, of Wolcott, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Cheshire House. She was the widow of Mr. Andrew L. Morea. Doris was born on April 20, 1930 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Anatole and Roseanne (Hebert) Barre. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Wilby High School. She was survived by her sister Irene Barre of Wolcott; Sister-in laws, Connie Costa, Theresa (Dolly) Santopietro and Eleanor McGrath; her close cousin Beatrice Muckle; and many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews. Doris loved her family and enjoyed her Saturday tea parties with her neighbors. Her family and friends will always remember her for her generosity and sass. Per her wishes, there are no calling hours. There will be a mass to honor her life at St. Annes Church in Waterbury on Thursday April 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105, one of her favorite charities.
