Mrs. Doris Marchesseault Loved her cat Jamie OAKVILLE- Mrs. Doris (Sweeney) Marchesseault, 95, beloved wife of the late Paul Marchesseault, passed away peacefully at St. Marys Hospital VITAS unit on Monday, March 11, 2024. Born in Waterbury on August 25, 1928, Doris was the daughter of the late Clara Sweeney. Doris worked as an office manager for many years for Dr. Pet and Chase Metal Works. Left to cherish her memory are members of her late husband Pauls family, her sisters-in-law Carol Marchesseault of Naugatuck, Phyllis and her husband Ernest Marchesseault of Waterbury, Jeannette Laliberte of Middlebury and several generations of nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her beloved cat Jamie. Doris family would like to thank the staff at VITAS hospice for their kindness and compassion. Doris will be laid to rest next to her husband Paul in Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Monday, March 18th with a graveside service beginning at 10:30 AM. There are no calling hours.
