Wolcott Dora B. DiDomizio, 83, of Wolcott, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Marys Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Richard DiDomizio who predeceased her in 1994. Dora was born on March 22, 1939 in Dusseldorf, Germany, daughter of the late Adolf and Annastasia Steppittis. Dora loved family over anything and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She enjoyed shopping and launch dates with her daughter, visiting with her son and his dog, Buddy, and sharing her dunkin donuts & pastries with family & friends. She also enjoyed casino bus trips with sister Herta & niece Rosie; and country music, her favorite being George Strait. Doras also spent a number of years as a Foster Grandparent at Frisbee School in Wolcott, a job which she loved dearly. Most of all, Dora enjoyed her time with her two grandchildren. From taking Dan Jr. for Pokmon cards or later on bringing him to work, and taking Breanna to dance practice and later on bringing her shopping. She also treasured her time with them at Frisbee School while she was working as a foster grandparent. Dora is survived by her children, John DiDomizio, Doreen Smith and her husband Chad, and Dan DiDomizio; two grandchildren, Dan Jr., and Breanna DiDomizio; two great-grandhcildren, Kyle and Kristopher DiDomizio; her sister Chrystal Lilyerd; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Alfred, Herta, Karl, Richie, and Eva. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road., Wolcott. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
