Donald McQuarrie, 72, of Waterbury, passed away on Tuesday, November 17. He was the husband of Debra (Kavanaugh) McQuarrie. Donald worked as a four-slide machine set up with several companies in Waterbury and Bristol, including Barnes, Metallon, AAA Springs, and most recently, Fabor Fourslide. He was also a former member of the Elks in Bristol, Lodge #1010. Besides his wife Debby, Donald is survived by his son Clifford McQuarrie, of Clinton; his daughter, Donna McQuarrie, of Middletown; his granddaughter, Dayton; his two adopted grandchildren, Paige and Gavin Kavanaugh; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 W. Main St., Waterbury. Meet directly at church. Burial will be held privately.
