Sun City, FL Donald J. LaMadeleine, 61, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Largo Medical Center in FL. Donald was born in Waterbury on June 19, 1957 to the late Roger and B. Alice (Menard) LaMadeleine. Over the years, Don managed several companies including Kinney Shoes, West Wind Marketing, and Taylor Oil. He was a football coach for the Pop Warner Knights; enjoyed golf; and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Don was a wonderful, loving father who enjoyed the family life and vacations, especially to Hilton Head. Don is survived by his sons, Jason LaMadeleine, and his fianc, Kai, of FL; and Ryan LaMadeleine, and his wife, Jennifer, of Woodbury; his sister, Denise Parsons, of Wolcott; his grandchildren, Ellie; Devin; Karlee; Jack; Owen; and Mason; his longtime dear friends, Robert Martin; and Rev. Kevin Loughran, and his wife, Kersti, and their daughter, Penny; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main Street, Waterbury. Meet directly at church.
