DOMENICK F. DELLARIO
WOLCOTT ~ Domenick F. Dellario, 78 of Wolcott passed away peacefully on April 7th at St. Marys Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Synnott) Dellario.
Mr. Dellario was born November 20, 1930 in Bristol, son of the late Frank and Marianna (Luparelli) Dellario. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for 25 years at Session Clock Company in Bristol and retired from Air Pax of Cheshire in 1993 after over 20 years of service. His passion was music and during his younger years had been a D.J. for the Bristol Boys Club. He enjoyed woodworking and many members of the family have been blessed with the fruits of his labour. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, but most of all he loved to cook. He was known for his unusual recipes and flavors. Domenick was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. He had a great sense of humor and was often the life of the party. He had a lifelong interest in history and current events. He attended St. Pius X Church.
Besides his wife of 19 years, he leaves his daughters, Deborah Sprague and her husband, Donald Scott of Hebron, and Diane Porto and her husband, Michael of New Hartford, his son, David Dellario of Kensington, his brother, Frank Dellario, Jr. of N.H., his granddaughters, Meaghan and Kathleen Sprague of Hebron, and his step-son, Peter Famiglietti of Wolcott, and several nieces, nephews and extended family. .
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13 at 8:45 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial to follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 pm.
