Milldale Dennis Donovan, 61, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020. He was the husband of Cheryl (Stolfi) Donovan. Dennis was born in Waterbury on February 14, 1959, son of William Donovan and Shirley (Roberts) (Donovan) Loomis. Dennis served as Deacon and Youth Group Leader at Mill Plain Union Church; Range Officer at Wolcott Landowner Association; served on the board of Waterbury Youth Symphony; and was a founding member of the bands, Halfway Sober and Grass on the Rocks. Dennis loved his family, friends, animals, NASCAR, beer, guns, and his truck. He enjoyed camping, music, and playing guitar. He was a friendly, generous and outgoing person whose enthusiasm was infectious. He was always eager to help others and always ready for a good party. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Dennis leaves behind his wife, Cheryl Donovan; and his daughter, Chelsea Donovan, and her husband, Nicholas Apicella IV; and many beloved niecesand nephews. A walk-through visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Masks and social distancing are required.
