Waterbury Denise Marie Brisson, 60, passed away peacefully October 2nd, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving significant other of Gary Hychko. Denise was born August 30th, 1957 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Aime and Claire (Marquis) Brisson. She attended St. Annes Grammar School and Kennedy High School. Denise was very detail oriented and precise in her life. Denise was a front-end manager at Stop and Shop and later an excellent bookkeeper and sales associate for Michaels Jewelers. She also worked in the automotive and medical industries as a customer service representative and was very well liked by all she dealt with. She loved cooking, traveling, dining and dancing, relaxing as she watched and listened to the waves of the ocean at the Andrea in Misquamicut, RI. She loved viewing the foliage on rides to the northwest hills, watching butterflies fly freely in her yard, and her beautiful Shih Tzus. She was a catholic, always prayed to St. Jude and was very generous. Besides her beloved Gary, Denise is survived by her sister Lorraine LeMay, nieces and nephew, Chantelle (John), Janelle, and Chad (Ashley) and great-nephew Brysen and great-niece Brinley; step-children Jessica and Gary Jr. (Caitlin) step-grandson Cassius, cousin Don and several other cousins and friends, and her Shih Tzu Jia. She loved and missed her other Shih Tzus (her babies) Yogi, Panda, Zoko and Meiling. She was pre-deceased by her brother-in-law, Bruce LeMay.
