NAUGATUCK ~ Denis G. Pronovost, 53, of Naugatuck, passed away on July 23, 2011 at his home. Denis was born July 23, 1958 in Waterbury, son of Helen M. (Cheripinsky) Pronovost and the late George E. Pronovost, Jr. For many years, he had been employed as a toolmaker/machinist for local manufacturing companies. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Besides his mother of Waterbury, he leaves his children, Elizabeth Griswold of Haddam, Cassandra and Justin Pronovost of Terryville, his siblings, Denise Moss and her husband, Walter of Acton, ME, David Pronovost of Ansonia, and Donna Holmes and her husband, Dudley of Beaufort, SC, four grandchildren and two nieces and two nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 7:30 pm. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
