Wolcott - Delores (Pavao) Paonessa, 83, of Wolcott, CT, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, February 3, 2022 after a brief illness. Delores was predeceased by her parents, Manuel and Sophie (Alves) Pavao. Delores was an amazingly strong woman who was very creative and had a true passion for cooking, especially when her family was around. She enjoyed ceramics and she was an avid bowler. Mostly, she just really loved spending time with her family as well as with her dog, Mickey, and her two kitties named Marley and Sadie. Delores worked for Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates (NVRA) where she was the billing supervisor for over 38 years until retirement. She leaves her three children Lisa (PAONESSA) Charney of Arizona, Kimberly (PAONESSA) Holland of Prospect, CT, and Michael PAONESSA and Millie Esposito of Wolcott, CT She also leaves a grandson, Evan M Charney of Wilton, CT. In addition, she leaves a niece, Sue (Pavao) Hudson and John, as well as a her great-niece Brianna Hudson and great-nephew, Nicholas Hudson all of Prospect, CT. There will be no calling hours.
