WOLCOTT- Mrs. Deborah (Curry) Charbonneau, wife and soulmate of Thomas Charbonneau passed away on Monday Nov. 13th at Hartford Hospital. She was 70 years young.
Born in Island Falls, ME on January 27, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James and Thelma (Tidd) Curry. She graduated from Wolcott High School and lived in Wolcott for most of her life. She met the love of her life Tom at the age of 13 in Alcott Middle School, and they have been married for 52 years. In 1996 they founded T.C. and Sons Trucking Co., currently located in Milldale, where she was president of the company until her sudden passing.
Deborah was the true matriarch of her family. She took great pride in her home and beautiful yard that her and Tom created together. She enjoyed hosting family functions, making everyone feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Deborah also enjoyed trips to the Casino to play Bingo. She had a motorcoach and loved to travel with Tom and her three mini-dachshunds Abbey, Stella, and Brandie. Deborah lived life to the fullest and created so many beautiful memories with her loved ones.
Left to cherish her memory and carry on her loving legacy are her three sons Thomas Jr. and his fiance Amy Serrembana, Michael and his wife Alison Charbonneau, Jason and his wife Crystal Charbonneau, her cherished grandchildren Alexis, Melanie, Leah, Ryan, McKenzie, Dillon and Aubrey, her sisters Kathy Mascolo, and Jamie Scacca, and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed deeply by Toms siblings and many special friends. She was predeceased by her sister Cheryl Gaydos and brother Donald Curry.
Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday Nov 20th at 11 AM at St. Pius Church/ St. Basil the Great Parish. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 3 to 6 PM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott.
