Waterbury - David A. Cote, 58, passed away on February 26, 2017, in Yale New Haven Hospital. David was born in Waterbury, on August 13, 1958, beloved son of Fernand and Dorothy (Morin) Cote. David enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 19, and served his country honorably. In his late 20s he moved to Sacramento, CA where he lived for 28 years, and made many cherished friends. David had worked as an architect; he loved sports, especially golf and football. He also collected comic books and movies, and loved Star Trek. David will be missed deeply by all who knew him. Including his parents, Fernand and Dorothy, David is survived by his half-brother, Byl Cote, and his wife, Jacque, of Greenwich; his niece, Brittany Cote; his nephew, Zachary Cote; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. David was predeceased by his brother, Mark J. Cote. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Patricks Church, 50 Charles St., Waterbury. Meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery with full Military Honors. There are no calling hours.
