CLEOFE "PAPO" LUCIANO, JR. WATERBURY ~ Cleofe "Papo" Luciano, Jr., 52, of Waterbury passed away on Saturday, April 18th at Yale-New Haven Hospital. "Papo" was born on August 15, 1956 in Patterson, N.J, son of Francisca (Roman) Luciano and the late Cleofe Luciano, Sr. For many years, he had been employed at Clydel Mfg. Co. and currently had been employed at Truelove & Maclean. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Naugatuck. Papo was an avid Yankees and Giants Fan. In his younger years, he enjoyed basketball and boxing. Besides his mother of Waterbury, he leaves his sisters, Migdalia Rivera of Thomaston, Claribel Moriarty of Southington, Blanca Rodriguez of Waterbury, and Nelida Corado of Groton, his brothers, Eliezer and Leonides Luciano of Waterbury, his adopted daughter, Monique Serrano of New Haven, two adopted grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He was predeceased by his sister, Nelida. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
