In Loving Memory of Claudine Debra (Raffin) Primack

With broken hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Claudine Debra (Raffin) Primack, age 67, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at her home in Wolcott, surrounded by those she loved most.

Born in Waterbury on September 10, 1957, Claudine was the beloved daughter of the late Claude and Madeline "Dolly" (Maringola) Raffin. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a cherished sister, and a passionate educator whose life touched countless hearts.

For 26 beautiful years, Claudine shared her life with her loving husband, Ross Primack. Together, they built a life centered around love, laughter, and family.

Claudine dedicated her professional life to education, beginning as a teacher in the Wolcott Public Schools, where she inspired young minds for 27 years. Her commitment to learning extended beyond the classroom when she joined the State Department of Education as an Education Consultant, a role she held with distinction until her retirement in 2020.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. Claudine is survived by her two beloved daughters, Shelley Barker and her husband Craig Chuba, and Stephanie Brooks and her husband Allen Brooks. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, brother Claude Raffin and his wife Marybeth, and sister Claudia Keane, as well as several dear nieces and nephews who brought her endless pride and happiness.

Claudine's legacy is one of kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. Her warmth, intelligence, and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Claudine's life on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 5:00 PM.
