Waterbury- Mrs. Clarisse (Thorn) Bruneau, 78, passed away peacefully on September 21 at the Waterbury Hospital. Clarisse was born October 25, 1935 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Walter and Rose (Parent) Thorn. She attended Saints Peter and Paul Grammar School. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Bruneau, Sr of Waterbury; her five children, Darlene Bruneau and her spouse Robin Boyle of Waterbury, Joseph Bruneau of MI, Vaughn Bruneau of MA, Steven Bruneau of Waterbury and Tina Bruneau Zimmerman and her spouse Jim Zimmerman of Naugatuck; her sister, Lorraine DeSantis of Cheshire; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Rebekah Bruneau, Dylan Andriulaitis and Alexis Gousby. Her favorite pastime was reading gossip papers and bingo. Arrangements: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 26, at 10:30 A.M. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Burial will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott.
