Obituary

Wolcott- Mrs. Claire Aurise (Rompre) Donnelly, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, March 21, at Wolcott View Manor. She was the widow of James J. Donnelly. Mrs. Donnelly was born March 27, 1923 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Octavia (Benoit) Rompre. After marrying James, they settled in Wolcott. She was deeply involved in her Catholic faith and a communicant of St. Pius X Church. As the patriarch of the Family, she also built countless relationships & friendships, especially at Wolcott View Manor, where she resided these last years. The outpouring of Love in her last days is a testament to the nurses there, and to the wonderful humor and spirit that she exuded to everyone that knew her. Love is permanently in our hearts and the heavens rejoice. 'she is home.' She is survived by one son, Richard J.
