Wolcott Claire Marie Adam, 94, of Wolcott, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Cheshire House. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond A. Adam. Claire was born on May 1, 1928 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian (Hamel) Boisvert. Claire was an experienced seamstress, enjoyed gardening and birdwatching; and was an excellent cook and baker. She also enjoyed duckpin bowling. Claire worked for numerous local department stores and banks eventually retiring from Wachovia Bank after many years of service. Claire is survived by three children, Bruce Adam, Cynthia Lee, and Pamela Jackson; her sister Anne Mazzamauro; two grandchildren Alyssa Lee and Meredith Richie; and three great-grandchildren, Ariana, Jordan, and Landon.. Three siblings, George, Robert and Blanche Boisvert, predeceased her. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
