Southington - Ciara Rae Ciccio, 27, passed away Monday, May 4th at her home in Southington. Ciara was born on August 25, 1992, daughter of Sherry (Janowitz) Ciccio and the late Thomas R. Ciccio. Ciara never wanted to be defined by Lymes Disease and its daily battle but instead made others laugh with her vibrant personality and sense of humor. Ciara treasured being her moms faithful sidekick and time spent growing up at her grandparents home, the late Frank and Annie Janowitz in Wolcott. Ciara had a big heart, loved cats, movies, music, playing games, making others laugh and was a friend forever. For the last several years, Ciara enjoyed her time working in the medical insurance industry and was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Cheshire. Besides her mother who was her best friend, she leaves a brother Tom Jr., and nephew Amato. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Janowitz and Ciccio family and will be missed by her two favorite cats Baby and Mazey. Ciara was predeceased by her grandparents, Frank and Annie Janowitz and Salvatore and Carmella Ciccio. The memory of Ciaras laugh, quick wit, humor and bright smile will never be forgotten.
