Wallingford - Christopher J. Meaney, 45, formerly of Wolcott, passed away on Friday, October 16. Christopher was born September 5, 1970 in Waterbury, son of Barbara M. Francis of Wolcott and Joseph W. Meaney of FL. Raised in Wolcott he had attended local schools and was a graduate of Wolcott High School class of 1989. He had been employed by DeFelice Construction as a supervisor and was a former member of the Yalesville Volunteer Fire Department. He will be remembered for his love of boating, baseball and playing golf. He truly enjoyed New England winters and snowmobiling. In addition to his parents he survived by one son, Jacob C. Meaney of Wallingford; two daughters, Nicole A. and Victoria R. Meaney both of Wallingford; two brothers, Joel J. and Matthew J. Meaney both of Wolcott; three sisters, Kimberly A. Kuklis of Alaska, Melissa A. Ranaudo of Wolcott and Tricia A. Meaney of Wolcott; his step-mother, Patricia Meaney of FL; his former wife Karin McGee of Wallingford; several nieces and nephews and one great-nephew. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 23, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
