CHARLES E. METIVIER WWII Army Veteran WATERBURY ~ Charles E. Metivier, 92, of Waterbury passed away on Monday, November 8th at St. Marys Hospital. Mr. Metivier was born May 16, 1918 in Worcester, MA, son of the late Dennis and Rose Ann (Letiole) Metivier. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII. He received the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign ribbon, the American Theater Campaign ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal. He retired from Consolidated Industries in 1978 after 28 years of service and was a member of St. Leo the Great Church. He leaves many cousins and close friends.
