Bristol Charles G. Lacombe, 85, of Bristol, passed away on March 28, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of 62 years to the love of his life, Carolyn (Moran) Lacombe.
Charles was born on July 10, 1937 in Waterbury, son of the late Alfred and Aldea (Gelinas) Lacombe. Charles was president and owner of Anco Tool Manufacturing and Wire Tech LLC where he worked until his last days. He was a devout Catholic and extremely family oriented. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golf, bowling, spending winters in Florida, and summers at Highland Lake.
Besides his wife, Charles is survived by his son, Charles J. Lacombe; three grandchildren, Meghan Bennett and her husband Michael, Hannah Ouellette, Elizabeth Lacombe and her fianc Colin Pawlak; siblings, Cecile Soucy, Lilian Orzell, Irene Lacombe, Roger Lacombe, and Rene Lacombe and his wife Lina; and several nieces and nephews. His daughter, Patricia A. Lacombe; and siblings Raymond, Maurice, and Theresa Lacombe predeceased him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michaels Church, 62 St. Michaels Drive, Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
